Vanilla Samsung Galaxy S23 renders break cover, look a lot like Galaxy S23 Plus
- Trusted leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer has leaked renders for the Samsung Galaxy S23.
- The device looks similar to the Galaxy S23 Plus renders leaked earlier today by the same source.
- It appears Samsung is going for a more minimalist look in 2023.
Now, from that same source (via Digit.in), we have our first look at what the regular Samsung Galaxy S23 could look like. As one would expect, the Galaxy S23 looks a lot like the Galaxy S23 Plus but is just smaller overall.
You can check out the renders for yourself below.
Samsung Galaxy S23 renders
The renders show a smartphone that is shaped similarly to the Galaxy S22. However, the camera module has been drastically overhauled. The offset module that appears on the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S22 series is gone. Instead, we have three distinct cutouts for each camera lens, similar to what we saw on the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
This makes sense when you think about it. When placed next to each other on a shelf, the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus look like they are from the same family, while the Galaxy S22 Ultra looks completely different. Going with this leaked design for the Samsung Galaxy S23 would bring some much-needed cohesion to the line.
Outside of the way the phone looks, Hemmerstoffer also has some dimensions. It could have a 6.1-inch display inside a body measuring 146.3 x 70.8 x 7.6mm. This is very similar to the Galaxy S22, which also has a 6.1-inch display crammed into a slightly different 146 x 70.6 x 7.6mm body.
We’ll need to stay tuned for more info on specs, features, pricing, and availability.
