On the desktop app

  1. In the Outlook desktop app, select New Email to start a new email.
  2. Click where you would like to add emojis to your email.
  3. Press Win + . on your keyboard. The Win (or Windows) button may look like the Windows logo and is located near the spacebar.
  4. Select the emoji you wish to add to your email.

On the Outlook website

Go to outlook.live.com in your web browser and start a new email. Click the Insert emojis button at the bottom.

Under Expressions, select whichever emoji you would like to insert into your email.

  1. Open the Outlook mobile app and start a new email.
