Gamers will also love the 1ms response time, a 120Hz refresh rate, and rich sound. It also supports Nvidia’s G-Sync and AMD’s FreeSync for people who want to hook up their gaming PC to this display.
You get support for Cinema HDR and Dolby Vision IQ for streaming media that supports those picture standards. You also get Dolby Atmos audio support as well. Voice commands support Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, and the TV also comes with LG’s own smart TV app libary.
Samsung Q800T Series
Instead of OLED, the Samsung Q800T Series packs a QLED panel with a 240Hz refresh rate. The TV comes with a stunning 8K resolution that will make images crisper than ever. Samsung promises deep blacks and the panel displays 100% of the DCI P3 spectrum. There’s also support for Quantum HDR 16X and the Quantum Processor 8K to upscale lower-resolution content.
Some gaming features are included, like Real Game Enhancer Plus, which reduces blur and halo effects. On the other hand, AMD FreeSync reduces tearing and stuttering. If you want smart features this 65-inch TV is powered by Tizen and has SmartThings support. Not to mention it can be controlled via Bixby, Google Assistant, and Amazon Alexa.
Sony XBR-65 A90J Series
Sony’s XBR series has been long known for its top-of-the-line performance and a gorgeous viewing experience. This is definitely Sony’s best 65-inch TV offering, bringing superior quality thanks to its 4K OLED HDR panel. It also has what it calls XR OLED Contrast Pro, which is supposed to offer deeper blacks for better contrast overall. Plus it has its new Coginative Processor XR, which the company claims it will offer the best picture quality via calculations that are “processed and remastered” in real times.
Another great thing about these Sony 65-inch TVs is that they come with Android TV, which puts a plethora of apps and Google Assistant support at your disposal. But it also works with Alexa, if you prefer Amazon’s digital assistant. Video is IMAX and Dolby Vision-enhanced. All while audio is improved by Dolby Atmos.
If you have the money to spend, Sony makes some of the best 65-inch TVs and this is no exception. It’s definitely worth a look.
VIZIO OLED Series
The Vizio OLED Series is the first TV from the company to have OLED displays. The 65-inch TV features built-in Chromecast and AirPlay 2. Also, you can control the TV with Google Assistant, Siri, or Amazon Alexa. The IQ Ultra Processor is supposed to offer fast picture processing, and it also has a separate ProGaming Engine chip made for high-end game consoles with 120Hz refresh rates and more.
TCL 6-Series 65-inch TV
Featuring a brushed metal finish, the TCL 6-Series sports a QLED panel with Dolby Vision and HDR10 support. The contrast control zones allow for improved contrast. As with other TCL TVs, the 6-Series is a Roku TV. That means access to thousands of streaming apps, along with voice control through Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. It’s also pretty affordable, so at least give it some consideration.
Hisense 65-Inch TV U8G Quantum Series
Those who really want to keep their bank accounts healthy will love the Hisense Class H9 Quantum Series. It’s the most affordable unit in this list and is still one of the best 65-inch TVs on the market.
This TV features a 4K ULED panel with Quantum Dot technology, offering over a billion colors. It comes with Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos for improved audio. Its full array of local dimming provides improved contrast and color. Not to mention the 120Hz refresh rate, which will keep image in motion crisp and clear.
This is an Android TV, so it comes with Google Assistant support, but you can also opt to use Amazon’s Alexa digital assistant.
