How to change TikTok to a Business account

Users with professional accounts can access more features, such as content analytics and trend placements. For our purposes, it also allows you to add links to your bio to help drive traffic to your website. Best of all, setting up a business account is free, so you have nothing to lose.

Firstly, navigate to your profile and select Settings and privacy.

Tap Manage account.

Then tap Switch to a Business account.

You’ll be asked to choose the category that best describes your account. This will be kept private and help TikTok suggest strategies to reach your intended audience.

How to add a link to your TikTok bio

Once you’ve created your Business account, you’ll receive a welcome message from TikTok. Tap Edit Profile.

Here, you can add your business website and email. You can also list any associated non-profit organizations.

You may need to register your business if you don’t see the options available. To do so, tap Business suite from the Settings menu on your profile.

Select Business registration.

You’ll then need to provide various details to verify your business. Once done, you should see the option to add a link to your TikTok bio. The website will appear on your profile page like so:
