Today Sprint announced availability and pricing info for its second 4G WiMAX smartphone, the Samsung Epic 4G, a Galaxy S smartphone. The Epic 4G will be available August 31 in all Sprint stores, as well…
Just like its international variant, the Samsung Galaxy S2 Epic 4G Touch on the Sprint network packs the same 1.2-GHz dual-core Samsung Exynos processor. However, the Sprint variant has a larger 4.52-inch Super AMOLED Plus display that is simply stunning.
The Epic 4G Touch also includes other impressive specs such as an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p video recording abilities, a 2.0-megapixel secondary camera for video chat, a 1800-mAh battery for exceptional battery life–all packed into a super thin, sleek design measuring only 9.66 mm thick. Pulling the strings together underneath is Samsung TouchWiz 4.0 on top of Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread.
Don’t let the seemingly monstrous screen size mislead you, though. The phone is still pocketable and easy on the grasp.
