Queer as Folk Season 1 (June 9)

queer as folk

The LGBTQ+ drama, first created in the UK in 1999 and later adapted in the US for Showtime in the early 2000s, is getting a revival on Peacock for an eight-episode first season. Set in New Orleans, the drama centers on a wide array of characters in the city’s LGBTQ+ community. However, a massive tragedy early in the season forces several of the characters to look at themselves and others in a new light. You can also watch the original UK version of the series on Peacock.

Rutherford Falls Season 2 (June 16)

rutherford falls season 2

The Peacock original comedy series returns for a second eight-episode season. Co-created and starring Ed Helms (The Office), the series will once again be set in the fictional small town of Rutherford Falls and the Native American reservation that it shares a border with. Look for some major changes in both the town and the reservation in the second season.

Dateline: The Last Day Season 1 (June 14)

The long-running NBC true crime show Dateline is launching a spin-off series on Peacock. The premise of each episode is that we will follow what happens during the last date of a murder victim’s life in order to solve the mystery of who killed them. The show will apparently have a more cinematic look to each episode compared to the straight-laced news stories found in the main Dateline series.
