What is Fitbit’s Auto Pause feature?
Auto Pause is a useful feature for runners and cyclists. It automatically and temporarily halts your workout timer when you come to a stop. When you get moving again, the workout timer resumes. Auto Pause is meant to remove momentary pauses from your total workout time, making for more precise tracking data.
The feature isn’t flawless, though. For some, Auto Pause may halt workouts at the wrong times in the middle of a workout. For this reason, it’s best to understand how you can control Auto Pause and choose the settings that best match your workout regime.
