Samsung Galaxy S23 spec sheet leaks: Like what you see?
- Specs of the Samsung Galaxy S23 have leaked.
- The phone is expected to get an SoC, software, and battery upgrade.
- Other hardware could remain the same as the Galaxy S22.
Yet another leak claims to give away the complete specs of the standard Samsung Galaxy S23. The latest information comes from regular tipster Yogesh Brar. His tweet contains all the information about the upcoming Samsung flagship’s display, cameras, charging speed, software, chipset, and more.
According to the leak, the Galaxy S23 will pretty much house the same hardware as the Galaxy S22. Of course, you can expect the annual chip and software refresh. In this case, it’s said to be the unannounced Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with Android 13-based One UI 5. Word has it that more markets will get the Qualcomm version of the Galaxy S23 series instead of Samsung’s Exynos variants.
You can also expect a battery upgrade if the leaked specs are accurate. It’s not a significant change, but a 3,900mAh battery is better than the Galaxy S22’s 3,700mAh cell. Unfortunately, charging speeds are not getting an upgrade this time around.
Other specs of the phone will reportedly remain unchanged. That means you’ll still get a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide shooter, and a 10MP telephoto sensor at the back. What has changed is the design of the camera setup. Previously leaked renders revealed that Samsung is remodeling the back of the Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus to look more like the Galaxy S22 Ultra. That means no accented camera island, just three vertically stacked sensors that sit directly on the phone’s body.

Additionally, the vanilla Galaxy S23 is said to feature 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB storage, the same as this year. The phone will likely get the same 6.1-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
We’ve seen some of these specs leak before, but Brar is usually pretty accurate with his tips, so his reveal just adds more credence to previous rumors. The Samsung Galaxy S23 is expected to launch sometime in February, but we won’t have an official release date until early next year. What do you think – are these specs enough for you to pass on the Pixel 7 and wait for the S23?
