• Samsung is giving away AKG headphones with its flagship devices.
  • The offer is available on the Samsung Store in the U.S. until June 30.
  • You can also get up to $350 off the price of the device by trading in your existing phone.

Samsung is giving away a pair of AKG headphones to buyers of the Samsung Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9 Plus, Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 Plus, or Galaxy S8 Active. The wireless AKG Y50BT headphones have an estimated value of $180 and the offer is valid until June 30, or while supplies last.

The offer, noticed by SamMobile, is available on the Samsung website in the U.S and is applicable to both unlocked and carrier variants of the selected devices. Buyers can also get up to $350 off the price of the phone by trading in their old device.

AKG is a well trusted audio manufacturer whose parent company Harman is owned by Samsung. Samsung has included a pair of $99 AKG earbuds with its flagship devices since the release of the Samsung Galaxy S8.

If you don’t want the headphones, you can choose from two discounted accessory bundles instead. The Power Bundle costs $49 and comes with a wireless charger, battery pack, and car charger. At $99, the Upgrade Bundle is a bit more expensive but comes with the AKG headphones, a Gear VR headset, and a wireless charger.

If it was up to me, I’d avoid the Power Bundle and instead go for the free headphones or the Upgrade Bundle as you get far more for your money. However, whichever way you go, its definitely nice to get some free or discounted accessories when buying a new phone.
