In an all-new musical adaptation, the classic tale of a lonely girl who finds her prince is getting retold yet again. Pop music artist Camila Cabello plays the title role, a young woman put upon by her evil stepmother (Idina Menzel) and her two stepsisters. When Cinderella is kept from going to a royal ball to meet the prince, it’s up to her Fabulous Godmother (Billy Porter) to work some magic on Cinderella so she can go to the ball, win over the prince (Nicholas Galitzine) and live happily ever after. The musical features covers of pop songs for its soundtrack.

He gets some support from his mother and best friend, but some other fellow school kids make fun of him. The film is all about a person who tries to break free from prejudice and become who he is supposed to be.
