One of Garmin Connect‘s many strengths is its ability to create and download custom and pre-made workouts to your watch. This lets you take any activity with you. But how do you do it? Here’s everything you need to know about Garmin’s pre-made and custom workouts.

You can browse Garmin Connect's list of pre-made workouts by heading to Training & Planning, then Workouts. Tap Find a Workout to browse the full list or tap Create a Workout to construct your own.

Here’s how to do it.

  1. Open the Garmin Connect app
  2. Tap on the three-line main menu button
  3. Select Training
  4. Tap on Workouts
  1. Choose Find a workout, then browse the selection on offer
  2. Tap Save to My Workouts
  3. Tap SEND TO DEVICE to transfer the workout to your watch

The next time your watch syncs with Garmin Connect, your workout will be available to view
