Android is all about customization, but many devices still come with fixed icon sizes. If they can be resized, the option is usually hidden in some unknown place within your settings. Perhaps you want them bigger so you can see them better, or maybe you would prefer making them smaller to better fit the screen.

We will show you how this is done. Most of you will have to download third-party launchers to get this accomplished. Regardless, you can always make Android look as you wish; icons are no exception.
Change icon size on Android – Third party launchers
Plenty of third-party launchers make it possible to change icon sizes, as well as grid layouts and more. Here are a few launchers we recommend for those who want more control over their icons (and UI, overall).
Google used to have its own launcher for stock Android devices, called Google Now Launcher. However, the company shut down that launcher in May 2018.
Change icon size on Android – Samsung phones
If you own a Samsung Android smartphone, it comes with its own One UI, which is now up to version 3.1 on the Galaxy S21 series, and 3.0 for a number of recent Samsung phones. Among other things, this allows those phones to change their icon sizes without the use of a third-party launcher. If you want to make that change on your Samsung phone, just touch and hold an empty space on the home screen, and then tap on the home screen settings icon. You should see two selections Home Screen Grid and Apps Screen Grid.

Tapping on either one of those choices should bring up a number of choices to change the ratio of apps on your phone’s home and apps screen, which will also change the sizes of those apps. Depending on which phone you own, the home screen grid choices could be 4×5, 4×6, 5×5 and 5×6, while the app screen grid ratio choices are 4×4, 4×6, 5×5 and 5×6.
