Ars Technica have released some statistics revealing the performance of Android 2.2 in comparison to the iOS 4 platform. Specifically, the performance benchmarks were based on JavaScript using SunSpider and V8. To be honest, I am slightly surprised someone had not performed these tests already as they were screaming out to be run.
