All great and magical things on your Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 3G/4G GT-P7500 begins with one basic step: rooting your Android tablet. Through rooting, you can overcome many of the limitations that phone makers and network carriers have placed upon the device.
With such restrictions lifted, you can do almost anything that you want to your device, provided you have the tools and knowledge. For instance, you can boost the phone’s speed and performance by installing apps or completely replace the operating system with a modified one.
In the case of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 GT-P7500, rooting allows you to maximize the solid hardware that the tablet comes with. You can even eliminate the factory-shipped apps that you don’t want. And, the most exciting of all is that rooting is also the first step for you to be able to install Ice Cream Sandwich ROMs long before Samsung has sent out the official updates for your tablet.
