Those looking to get the right amount of power from their smartphones will want to make sure their device has plenty of RAM. 4GB may be enough for many, but a little more is always nice. You might also want to look at phones with 8, 10, or even 12GB of RAM, but those can be overkill. We feel 6GB is the sweet spot for the average user, which is why we’ve compiled a list of the best phones with 6GB RAM.

The best phones with 6GB of RAM:

Editor’s note: We’ll be updating this list of the best phones with 6GB of RAM regularly as new devices launch.

1. Google Pixel 5a

Every major Pixel release now comes with its affordable “a” version. The latest one couldn’t be the exception, and the Pixel 5a is all but guaranteed to be one of the best budget mid-end phones of the year.

It has excellent battery life, an IP67 rating, good performance, and a very neat display. Like all Google phones, it also comes with an outstanding camera system. And in case you haven’t figured it out, it also comes with 6GB of RAM.

All specs aside, the Google Pixel 5a is likely the best phone for most casual users. Not to mention its price is amicable on the wallet.

Google Pixel 5a specs:

  • Display: 6.34-inch, Full HD+
  • SoC: Snapdragon 765G
  • RAM: 6GB
  • Storage: 128GB
  • Cameras: 12.2 and 16MP
  • Front cameras: 8MP
  • Battery: 4,680mAh
  • Software: Android 11

2. Samsung Galaxy A32

The budget-friendly Samsung Galaxy A32 5G is a great phone, either with or without 6GB of RAM. It packs enough speed, a sleek design, and Samsung’s robust update promise. In fact, the biggest drawback might be that the 6GB of RAM version is tough to track down in most places. The design is reminiscent of the LG Velvet, even if it doesn’t have as many colorful finishes.

Samsung also delivers on the camera front, with a 5MP macro shooter that feels like more than a gimmick. It can’t rival the iPhone 13 Pro’s option, but it beats the 2MP rivals for sure. The MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor can keep up with most of your daily tasks, and the 5,000mAh battery seems to last forever. It ships with Android 11 out of the box, but you’ll have to keep an eye on the Android 12 update schedule to see when you can expect One UI 4.

Google Pixel 4a specs:

  • Display: 5.81-inch, Full HD+
  • SoC: Snapdragon 730G
  • RAM: 6GB
  • Storage: 128GB
  • Camera: 12.2MP
  • Front camera: 8MP
  • Battery: 3,140mAh
  • Software: Android 10

3. OnePlus Nord 2

The OnePlus Nord was a trendy phone in the budget market, and now it has a direct successor. The OnePlus Nord 2 comes with some significant upgrades over its predecessor. For starters, it has a MediaTek Dimensity 1200, which is comparable to a Snapdragon 870.

Other features include Wi-Fi 6, a 90Hz AMOLED display, a triple-camera system, and plenty of storage. It’s also a pretty affordable phone, which is great considering the processor gets it closer to high-end performance.

We also love its design, display, and fast 65W charging. We wish the phone had an IP rating and better quality cameras, but you can’t complain much when the price is so good. Not to mention it’s also one of the best phones with 6GB of RAM. The only trick here is that only the India version will come with 6GB of RAM. Others will have to upgrade to either 8GB or 12GB.

OnePlus Nord 2 specs:

  • Display: 6.43-inch, Full HD+
  • SoC: MediaTek Dimensity 1200
  • RAM: 6/8/12GB
  • Storage: 128/256GB
  • Cameras: 50, 8, and 2MP
  • Front camera: 32MP
  • Battery: 4,500mAh
  • Software: Android 11

4. Xiaomi Poco M4 Pro

Hadlee Simons / Android Authority

The Poco M4 Pro is an impressive option for phones with 6GB of RAM. It offers excellent battery life with fast charging, and the design sits far above its price tag. You also get IP53 splash resistance, so you won’t have to worry too much about your next adventure. Poco packed its M4 Pro with a 5G-ready MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset, and the 6GB of RAM version packs 128GB of storage, too.

Hadlee found that the 50MP primary camera lens delivers solid results during his review, though you’ll have to stick to the best lighting conditions. The front 16MP lens falls short on portrait mode, too. On the bright side, we’ll never complain about 33W wired charging or a 5,000mAh battery.

Xiaomi Poco M4 Pro specs:

  • Display: 6.6-inch, Full HD+
  • SoC: MediaTek 810
  • RAM: 4/6GB
  • Storage: 64/128GB
  • Cameras: 50 and 8MP
  • Front camera: 16MP
  • Battery: 5,000mAh
  • Software: Android 11

5. Samsung Galaxy A52 5G

The Samsung Galaxy A52 offers plenty of bang per hard-earned buck. It is very well priced and has some features higher-end competitors will envy. These include a nice 120Hz display, all-day battery life, a very nice design, and even IP67 certification.

Next: The best Samsung phones

With that said, we wish the phone had slightly better performance and overall camera quality, but the main sensor is pretty good, and performance is good enough for most casual users. It’s still among the best phones with 6GB of RAM. Not to mention it comes with 5G support, which is not so easy to find at this price range.

Samsung Galaxy A52 5G

  • Display: 6.5-inch, Full HD+
  • SoC: Snapdragon 750G
  • RAM: 6/8GB
  • Storage: 128/256GB
  • Cameras: 64, 12, 5, and 5MP
  • Front camera: 32MP
  • Battery: 4,500mAh
  • Software: Android 11

6. Nokia X100

Nokia’s X100 isn’t a world-beater for phones with 6GB of RAM. In fact, it’s one of the most affordable options on the list. However, it packs specs to match many of Nokia’s other offerings, starting with a Snapdragon 480 processor. It comes 5G ready, and the 4,470mAh battery should pack enough punch to power you beyond a day of usage. Nokia added 128GB of storage to the mix, common for devices with 6GB of RAM.

Next: The best Nokia phones around

Our review did knock it for a weak update commitment, but the Nokia X100 makes for a good first phone. It packs a quad-camera setup, capped off by a 48MP main shooter. Overall, it captures solid shots, especially for the asking price.

Nokia X100 specs:

  • Display: 6.67-inch, Full HD+
  • SoC: Snapdragon 480
  • RAM: 6GB
  • Storage: 128GB
  • Cameras: 48, 5, 2, and 2MP
  • Front camera: 16MP
  • Battery: 4,470mAh
  • Software: Android 11

7. Sony Xperia 10 III

The Sony Xperia 1 III and Xperia 5 III are the company’s top dogs, but they’re expensive and have more than 6GB of RAM. If you want one of Sony’s phones with 6GB of RAM, turn to the Xperia 10 III. It comes with more modest specs but a very similar design and a much lower price point.

Here: These are the best Sony Xperia phones

While you may have to settle with a Snapdragon 690 processor, the phone doesn’t sacrifice much else. It comes with a large 6-inch OLED display, 128GB of storage, 5G support, a 4,500mAh battery, and fast 30W charging. Other essential features include IP65/68 water resistance, a 3.5mm port, LDAC, aptX HD support, a fingerprint reader, and Android 11.

Sony Xperia 10 III specs:

  • Display: 6.0-inch, Full HD+
  • SoC: Snapdragon 690
  • RAM: 6GB
  • Storage: 128GB
  • Cameras: 12, 8, and 8MP
  • Front camera: 8MP
  • Battery: 4,500mAh
  • Software: Android 11

iPhone 13 Pro Max

Apple’s top-of-the-line handsets are also among the best phones with 6GB of RAM. The iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max offer the best mobile experience the company has to offer.

Where the iPhone 13 comes in aluminum, the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max step up to stainless steel. Moreover, the fun colors like Starlight are gone, with options like Sierra Blue taking their place. The screens measure 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches across the diagonal for the Pro and Pro Max, respectively.

The iPhone 13 Pro series is for the serious mobile photographer, with its triple camera and LiDAR scanner. Finally, the iPhone Pro Max is for those who do not consider money a limitation and want to have a massive screen with top-notch camera capabilities.

iPhone 13 Pro specs:

  • Display: 6.1-inch, Super Retina XDR
  • SoC: Apple A15 Bionic
  • RAM: 6GB
  • Storage: 128/256/512GB/1TB
  • Cameras: 12, 12, and 12MP + ToF
  • Front camera: 12MP
  • Battery: 3,095mAh
  • Software: iOS 15.1

iPhone 13 Pro Max specs:

  • Display: 6.7-inch, Super Retina XDR

  • Storage: 128/256/512GB/1TB
  • Cameras: 12, 12, and 12MP + ToF

9. OnePlus Nord N10

Nord N10

OnePlus went all out with device launches in 2020, and the Nord N10 is one of the most affordable ways to put 6GB of RAM in your pocket. While it won’t blow many other phones away in terms of specs, the Nord N10 does pack a few impressive features.

For starters, the 6.49-inch 90Hz display punches above the friendly price tag. It’s made of Gorilla Glass 3 and comes with a Full HD+ resolution. The Nord N10 also comes with a fingerprint reader and even a headphone jack, even if it does miss out on OnePlus’ signature alert slider. We were pretty impressed with the Nord N10’s camera, though it’s not enough to place the phone above Google’s Pixel 4a.

Unfortunately, OnePlus has only promised one system update for the Nord N10. Most people stick with their phones for longer than a year, so it’s tough to recommend a phone that’s not exactly future-proof. OnePlus tapped the Snapdragon 690 to power the N10, which is a nice chip, but it can’t keep up with the leading players.

OnePlus Nord N10 specs:

  • Display: 6.49-inch, Full HD+
  • SoC: Snapdragon 690
  • RAM: 6GB
  • Storage: 128GB
  • Camera: 64, 8, 2, and 2MP
  • Front camera: 16MP
  • Battery: 4,3000mAh
  • Software: Android 10

10. Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G

Eric Zeman / Android Authority

The Moto G Stylus 5G is super affordable, so don’t expect it to be a performer, but it is one of the best phones with 6GB of RAM if you’re looking for a budget option. Performance may be limited, but you get 5G support, a huge 6.8-inch screen, stylus support, and pretty good hardware.

We also love its battery life, which is likely the best thing it has going for itself. The battery is pretty large at 5,000mAh, and since specs are basic, they also don’t need that much energy. This equates to an estimated battery of two days. And that’s what Motorola claims; in our tests, we managed to get 2.25 days on a single charge.

Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G specs:

  • Display: 6.8-inch, Full HD+
  • Chipset: Snapdragon 480
  • RAM: 4/6GB
  • Storage: 128/256GB
  • Cameras: 48, 8, 5, and 2MP
  • Front camera: 16MP
  • Battery: 5,000mAh
  • Software: Android 11
