We had a chance to get up close and personal with Verizon and Motorola’s Droid Razr Maxx. I must say it’s even better then the Droid Razr, while the only main difference is the huge battery that’s in the Droid Razr Maxx, and it’s bump up to 32GB of memory, it’s worth checking out.

The Droid Razr Maxx is still just as thin as the original Droid Razr, but at CES it lost it’s title as the world’s thinnest smartphone. But we knew that was going to happen at CES didn’t we? We’ve got tons of pictures for you down below, to admire until it official launches on big red sometime later this year. It will launch at $299 on Verizon with a 2-year contract, which is typical pricing for their flagship LTE devices lately.

With a 3300mAh battery in the Droid Razr Maxx, I wonder how long the battery can last with those of us who are constantly using our phones for everything?

It only has 16 gb of Internal Memory, and 16 gb card same as Razr, specs are on Motorola.

    • Sorry about that, the press release said “The DROID RAZR MAXX comes equipped with 32 GB of total memory” and I thought it was 32GB internal memory.

it’s also not “just as thin” 8.9 mm vs 7.1 mm

well…moto is saying you can gps a round trip from vegas to LA. i don’t know how that translates into everyday all the time use,,,but i’ve navigated on my droid and the battery is dead in one hour. what’s a vegas > la round trip?,,,,10hours?! anybody running down the maxx in one day is playing games all day and web surfing and playing video.

If I purchase the DROID RAZR MAXX from motorola.com site, would I be able to have the phone unlocked without any problems?

Will DROID RAZR MAXX be getting an upgrade to ICE CREAM?
