Xiaomi Mi Band 4 price and availability

The Mi Band 4 is officially available in China and the U.K. (where it’s known as the “Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 4,” while U.S. residents will have to import the fitness tracker from another website such as Amazon.

Pricing is as follows:

There are two versions of the Mi Band 4. The international variant is sold, well, internationally. It doesn’t come with NFC or an AI voice assistant, though it does carry a cheaper price tag. The China-only variant does have NFC for contactless payments via Alipay and public transportation payment support. It also has Xiaomi’s Xiao AI assistant. Thus, this version is more expensive.

There’s actually a third special-edition Mi Band called the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 Avengers Limited Edition. This model comes with three different Avengers-themed straps: grey with an Avengers logo, blue with a Captain America logo, and red with an Iron Man logo. Xiaomi Mi Band 4 specs and features

The Mi Band 4 is very much a refresh of the Mi Band 3, so it’s not a complete redesign. However, Xiaomi took our biggest gripes with the Mi Band 3 and fixed them in the Mi Band 4.

The Mi Band 4 has a 0.95-inch color AMOLED display. It’s bright enough to see outdoors, and you can even control your smartphones music with it. It’s also the same size as the Mi Band 3, so you can use your Mi Band 3 bands on your Mi Band 4!

Let’s talk specs. The Mi Band 4 has a 5ATM water resistance rating, Bluetooth 5.0 support, and a battery that will last 20 days on a single charge.

It doesn’t have a built-in GPS, though it does have a connected GPS feature for tracking your distance and pace using your phone’s GPS. It also has a heart rate sensor that can hold its own against other wrist-based heart rate sensors.

From a software standpoint, the Mi Band 4 is a nice upgrade from the Mi Band 3. It can now track pool swimming and has a generic “exercise” mode for tracking miscellaneous cardio workouts.

The Xiaomi Mi Band 4 is also a decent smartwatch alternative — It can show you notifications from just about any app you have on your smartphone. It also supports a variety of different watch faces, has a do not disturb mode, built-in alarm, on-device weather app, and even a “find my Mi Band” feature if you happen to misplace it.
