Xiaomi's next flagship, new Android skin officially launching this week

The Xiaomi 14 series will launch in China on October 26, 2023. The company confirmed the launch details on social media, alongside a tiny phone teaser.
Taking to Weibo and X, the company also confirmed that HyperOS — Xiaomi’s new Android skin — and Leica imaging technology would again feature on the phone line.

So, what can we glean from the teaser? For one, it doesn’t reveal much about the device but confirms a flat metal edge and a large, squared-off camera array. This aligns with rumored images of the Xiaomi 14 Pro we’ve seen before.
Xiaomi does not confirm any device specs in the post, but we expect the series to debut with the forthcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Rumors also hint at rapid 90W wired and 50W wireless charging for the base model, jumping to 120W wired charging for the Pro.
Notably, the Xiaomi 14 is debuting much earlier than Xiaomi’s traditional December launch date in China. This could bode well for an earlier international launch.
