Samsung skipped the Galaxy Note series last year, opting to bring S Pen support to the Galaxy S21 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 3 instead. The same situation took place in 2022, as the Korean brand skipped the Galaxy Note line again in favor of bringing the tech to its existing high-end devices.

So with this decision in mind, we want to know whether you missed the Galaxy Note line this year? You can let us know by voting on the poll below and leaving a comment if you’d like to elaborate on your choice.

On the one hand, we could see why people might be a little disappointed with the lack of a Note series this year. It’s particularly disappointing if you wanted a cheaper S Pen-toting flagship, with the standard Galaxy Note 20 launching at $999. Meanwhile, the S22 Ultra starts at $1,200 while the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will set you back $1,800. The Note 20 Ultra also offered microSD card support, which isn’t available on the S21 Ultra, S22 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 3, or Galaxy Z Fold 4.

Then again, the Galaxy S22 Ultra in particular seems like a modern Galaxy Note Ultra in all but name. The phone is equipped with an S Pen slot much like the Note line. You’re also getting supercharged specs here in line with the Note series, such as a powerful SoC, QHD+ 120Hz OLED screen, and versatile cameras.
