You can get the Pixel 10a for free at Verizon, but here's the catch
- Verizon has added the Pixel 10a to its lineup, with pre-orders starting February 18 and in-store availability on March 5.
- You can get the Pixel 10a for $0, but only if you add a new line on Unlimited Ultimate, Unlimited Plus, or Unlimited Welcome.
- Verizon is also offering a 128GB Pixel 10 Pro for free with a new line on select Unlimited plans, and no trade-in is required.
Google’s latest budget Pixel just got a lot harder to ignore, thanks to Verizon. The carrier has officially added the Google Pixel 10a to its lineup and is making a big announcement about it.
Pre-orders for the Pixel 10a open this Wednesday, February 18, and Verizon is offering a deal that’s hard to turn down. New and existing customers can get the phone for $0.

However, to get the deal, you need to add a new smartphone line on one of Verizon’s top-tier plans: Unlimited Ultimate, Unlimited Plus, or Unlimited Welcome. Verizon is clearly encouraging more people to sign up for these premium plans. Still, if you were planning to add a line for a family member or a second number anyway, this effectively removes the hardware cost from the equation.
If the A-series isn’t enough for you, Verizon has something for power users too. You can get a 128GB Pixel 10 Pro for free. This deal is even better because you don’t need to trade in your old phone. All you need is a new line and a qualifying purchase on select Unlimited plans.
Verizon is also offering more stability by guaranteeing your base monthly rate for three years on myPlan and myHome.
Business customers can get similar deals. Verizon Business customers can get the 128GB Pixel 10a for free when they sign up for a qualifying My Biz or Business Unlimited Plan. If you prefer prepaid options, the Pixel 10a will also be available on Verizon’s prepaid brands — Visible, Straight Talk, and Total Wireless — with special pricing and select colors.
If you want to see the phone in person before buying, you’ll need to wait a couple of weeks. Full in-store availability begins on March 5.
