Oct 13, 2026 — 6:55 AM ET

- Following OPPO’s Color OS 17 announcement, OnePlus and realme have shared their official rollout schedules, with rollouts beginning October 29, 2026, and continuing through Q1 2027.
- First on the list are flagship devices like the OnePlus 15, OnePlus Pad 4, OnePlus 15R, OnePlus 13, and OnePlus 13s, with the rest following.
- The update will roll out to the realme GT 8 Pro series first, then reach the GT 7 Pro and realme 16 Pro lineup, and the rest of the eligible lineup thereafter.
OPPO just formally announced its Android 17-based Color OS 17 update for global markets, and now sub-brands OnePlus and realme have revealed the official rollout schedule for eligible devices. While newer releases like the OnePlus 16 are set to launch with the new update out of the box, existing hardware won’t have to wait long, as the stable release wave is scheduled to begin later this month and extend into early 2027.
According to the official roadmap shared by OnePlus, the staged rollout kicks off in late October 2026:
- October 29, 2026: OnePlus 15, OnePlus Pad 4
- October 30, 2026: OnePlus 15R, OnePlus 13, OnePlus 13s
- November 2026: OnePlus Open, OnePlus 13R, OnePlus 12, OnePlus Nord 6, OnePlus Nord CE6, OnePlus Pad 3
- December 2026: OnePlus 12R, OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition, OnePlus 11, OnePlus Nord 5, OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite, OnePlus Nord CE5, OnePlus Pad 2, OnePlus Pad Go 2
- Q1 2027: OnePlus Nord 4, OnePlus N6, OnePlus N6x, OnePlus N6 Lite, OnePlus Pad Lite

As standard for Android platform upgrades, OnePlus notes that builds will roll out in staged batches across regions, with carrier-locked models subject to their own individual network certification timelines. Feature availability may also vary depending on device hardware capabilities.
Where’s Oxygen OS 17, you ask? As part of OnePlus’s exit from North America and Europe, the company formally announced that moving forward, OnePlus phones will run on Color OS. At the time, the company said that OnePlus devices in Europe and North America would be able to choose whether to update to the latest Color OS, but there’s been no further information on this front. Given that Oxygen OS was largely built on top of Color OS anyway, the choice doesn’t have much real-world consequence.
Alongside OnePlus, realme has similarly outlined its own deployment schedule.
The update will hit the realme GT 8 Pro series starting October 29, 2026, before reaching the GT 7 Pro and realme 16 Pro lineup on October 30, with mid-range and budget entries spanning the GT, number, P, and Narzo series slated for November through the first quarter of 2027.
