One of the best things about having a Pixel is being first in line for the steady barrage of updates Google releases throughout the year. Beyond big Android OS upgrades, you also get Pixel Drops that land much more frequently.

The latest update to arrive for Pixel handsets is Android 17 QPR1, which is rolling out now as part of the 2026 September Pixel Drop. While QPR updates can be quite significant, Android 17 QPR1 is pretty light on new features. There are some various UI tweaks, a few new app icons, an updated Pixel VIP widget, and some new Harry Potter themes, too.

If you have a Pixel and want to know if your specific model is eligible for Android 17 QPR1/the 2026 September Pixel Drop, you’ll find the full list below.

We’ve seen some Pixel Drops randomly skip select older Pixel models over the last few months, but that’s not the case here with the September 2026 Pixel Drop and Android 17 QPR1. Every Pixel phone from the Pixel 6 and up is set to receive this update, including all of the following:

  • Pixel 6
  • Pixel 6 Pro
  • Pixel 6a
  • Pixel 7
  • Pixel 7 Pro
  • Pixel 7a
  • Pixel Fold
  • Pixel 8
  • Pixel 8 Pro
  • Pixel 8a
  • Pixel 9
  • Pixel 9 Pro/9 Pro XL
  • Pixel 9 Pro Fold
  • Pixel 9a
  • Pixel 10
  • Pixel 10 Pro/10 Pro XL
  • Pixel 10 Pro Fold
  • Pixel 10a
  • Pixel 11
  • Pixel 11 Pro/11 Pro XL
  • Pixel 11 Pro Fold

Notably, this is also the first Pixel Drop headed to Google’s latest Pixel 11 series. It’s a little disappointing that the inaugural Pixel Drop for the new phones isn’t anything to write home about (unless you’re a huge Harry Potter fan), but there is a lot to look forward to with the Android 17 QPR2 update, which should arrive in December.

In addition to all of the above phones, the recently discontinued Pixel Tablet should be getting the update, too.
