Sunrise gold Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus will arrive on June 24
- The sunrise gold color of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus will be sold in the U.S. starting June 24.
- The new version will be sold on Samsung.com, BestBuy.com, and in Best Buy brick-and-mortar stores.
- This is the fourth color choice for Samsung’s latest flagship phones.
If you have been waiting to buy the Samsung Galaxy S9 or S9 Plus in gold, your wait is nearly over. The company announced today that the sunrise gold edition of its latest flagship phones will finally be sold in the U.S. beginning June 24.

The phone will be sold on Samsung.com, and Best Buy will also sell it in its retail stores and on its website. Pricing for the sunrise gold edition will start at $719.99 and $839.99 for the 64GB versions of the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus, respectively. The price goes up to $769.99 and $889.99 for the 128GB versions of those phones, and up to $839.99 and $959.99 for the 256GB editions.
If you buy from Samsung.com, you’ll be able to get up to $400 in savings if you trade in your older phone for a new Galaxy S9 or S9 Plus. In addition, Best Buy will also offer up to $300 in savings on select carrier models.
With this new color option, the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus now come in four different colors — sunrise gold, lilac purple, coral blue, and midnight black. Which is your favorite?
