Samsung One UI beta might open November 15, at least in one country
- A Samsung support rep points to November 15 as the launch date of the Samsung One UI beta program.
- It’s possible the beta could only launch in Germany on that date, but there could also be other countries.
- Either way, the Samsung One UI beta will launch at some point this month.
If you’re excited about giving the new Samsung One UI a try, you might not have to wait that long.
According to a Samsung support rep (via All About Samsung), the One UI beta program will open on November 15, which is this coming Thursday.
Samsung previously confirmed the One UI beta would open at some point this month, so November 15 is a realistic date for the launch. However, since the support rep is part of Samsung Germany, it is possible this November 15 date is just for the German launch of the beta.
Since November 15 is only a few days away, we won’t have to wait long to find out if this is the case.
Samsung’s One UI is the newest iteration of its Android skin. One UI will eventually replace Samsung Experience, which itself is a replacement for the original TouchWiz.
At the Samsung Developers Conference where the company announced the new product, Samsung touted One UI’s benefits when it comes to modern smartphone usage, as well as how the system will make it easier to use bigger phones with only one hand. The entire interface is also getting a design overhaul which closely resembles Google’s own Material Design initiative.
