Huge cover display could appear on Galaxy Z Flip 5, larger than Find N2 Flip's
- A new rumor suggests the cover display on the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 could be much larger than what we saw in previous generations.
- Allegedly, it could be even larger than the cover display of the OPPO Find N2 Flip.
- We expect the Galaxy Z Flip 5 to land this summer.
The OPPO Find N2 Flip just landed, and one of its unique selling points is its massive cover display. This display (the one that appears on the outside of the phone) allows for you to perform quick tasks without needing to unfold the phone.
The main competitor for this device in 2023 will be the as-yet-unannounced Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5. According to a new rumor stemming from Ice Universe, this new Samsung phone could trump the Find N2 Flip’s cover display, at least regarding sizing.
Check out Ice Universe’s tweet on the matter below:
The clues have surfaced.
The first leak

Just for the sake of clarity, the image Ice Universe shared with the tweet is of the Find N2 Flip and is not an early leak of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5.
If Samsung does indeed bring a larger cover display to its next flip-style foldable, it would be a welcome upgrade. While the cover display on the Galaxy Z Flip 4 certainly isn’t useless, it is pretty cramped.
However, size isn’t everything, and what you can do with the cover display will make the true difference. But having more screen real estate could make bringing new features and controls to the cover display easier, so we’re optimistic that Samsung could have quite a bit in store for us.
We expect Samsung to launch the Galaxy Z Flip 5 (and its sibling, the Galaxy Z Fold 5) in the summer.
