  • The Tab S7 FE is a watered-down version of the premium Galaxy Tab S7.
  • The new Fan Edition tablet features Android 11, a 10,090mAh battery, and the Snapdragon 750G chipset.

Samsung has launched the Galaxy Tab S7 FE aka the Fan Edition model of the more premium Galaxy Tab S7 in India. The tablet previously launched only in Russia.

The Tab S7 FE is priced to take on the 8th-gen iPad with Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity in India. However, it features a larger 12.4-inch display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600.

As the name suggests, the Fan Edition Galaxy Tab S7 comes with watered-down specs compared to the non-FE model. Still, it should deliver solid performance with the mid-range Snapdragon 750G processor.

The Android 11-powered Galaxy Tab S7 FE also boasts a massive 10,090mAh battery so you can watch hours of Netflix or be on video calls all day. It also gets 45W fast charging that Samsung claims can juice up the battery in 90 minutes. However, you’ll have to buy the 45W charger separately as the tablet only comes with a 15W adapter in the box.

Cameras on the Galaxy Tab S7 FE include an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front landscape mode camera.

For connectivity, you get both Wi-Fi and LTE on board.

Besides the Fan Edition Tab S7, Samsung has also launched the cheaper Galaxy Tab A7 Lite in India. It gets an 8.7-inch display, the MediaTek Helio P22T chip, a 5,100mAh battery, 32GB of internal storage expandable up to 1TB, an 8MP rear camera, and a 2MP front camera.
