Leaks and information about the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE have become rampant in these past few days. The phone is clearly on the brink of launch and folks over at SamMobile have managed to get their hands on its user manual.
Even though we’ve seen multiple leaks about the upcoming Samsung phone, the user manual is as official as it gets. It doesn’t mention the exact specs of the Galaxy S21 FE but details some of the phone’s key features.
To start with, the manual shows the Galaxy S21 FE in all its glory, confirming that all the renders we’ve seen so far are accurate. You’ll get an in-display fingerprint sensor on the punch-hole screen and a triple rear camera at the back. The phone will also support facial recognition as an unlocking mechanism. The button on the right of the phone can be customized to quickly launch the camera app, Bixby, or any other apps.

There’s a single nano-SIM slot on the phone. The document doesn’t mention a MicroSD slot. This could be a big bummer for those who were expecting the Galaxy S21 FE to support expandable storage just like the Galaxy S20 FE.
The manual further confirms that the Galaxy S21 FE will IP68 water and dust resistance. This means it can withstand being submerged in water up to a depth of 1.5 meters for a maximum of thirty minutes.
The Galaxy S21 FE will also get wireless power sharing to charge compatible Samsung devices, like a pair of Galaxy Buds, using the phone.
Elsewhere, the manual mentions that the Galaxy S21 FE will get a high refresh rate display, support for Dolby Atmos audio, and NFC for contactless payments.
There’s also a list of pre-loaded apps mentioned in the document, including 23 Samsung apps and 12 Google apps.
Some camera features are also mentioned in the leaked Galaxy S21 FE manual. These include Samsung’s popular Single Take mode for capturing multiple photos and video at the same time, Scene Optimizer for automatically adjusting exposure, contrast, and white balance, AR Doodle mode, Pro mode, a dedicated mode for food photography, portrait video mode, super slow-mo, hyperlapse, and more.
