Samsung website accidentally references Galaxy S21 FE
- The Mexican version of Samsung’s official site referenced the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE.
- Samsung hasn’t confirmed the phone is coming yet, but all evidence suggests as much.
- It’s possible this reference was just a typo, but it seems more likely that Samsung is prepping for the expected August launch.
In 2020, Samsung made it clear that it plans to continue to release “Fan Editions” of its flagship smartphone lines. This statement came about after the overwhelmingly positive response to the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE.
With this in mind, we’ve long expected a Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. However, Samsung has yet to formally declare one is on the way. That lack of admission makes a reference to a Galaxy S21 FE on Samsung’s Mexican website all the more curious.
As first spotted by Galaxy Club, the reference to the unreleased phone appeared in a menu drop-down as an advertisement. The image shows two Galaxy S21 phones with text underneath that references the Fan Edition model. See it for yourself below:
Now, it’s totally possible that this was just a typo. For what it’s worth, we tried refreshing the site numerous times to see the errant text ourselves, but it never appeared.
However, it’s also possible that Samsung is simply gearing up for the launch of the device and someone on the website’s staff jumped the gun. We’ve seen it happen numerous times before.
Besides, we are all but assured that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is on the way. We have leaked renders and even a leaked release date. Unless the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic throws a wrench in the works, it’s a safe bet that a Fan Edition of Samsung’s latest is coming soon.
