- The team behind the Pizza Boy Game Boy and Sega Genesis emulators has just released the Pizza Boy Dual Slice app.
- This is a Nintendo DS emulator for Android, offering adjustable screen layouts, RetroAchievements support, and more.
- The app is available in free and Pro versions via the Play Store.
The Pizza Boy emulators have long been among the best emulators on Android, targeting Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, and Sega Genesis. We can now add Nintendo DS emulation to the list as the team has released Pizza Boy Double Slice.
Pizza Boy Double Slice is a brand-new Nintendo DS emulator for Android that’s available via the Play Store. The development team promises “fast and accurate” emulation, for one, but there are plenty of other features worth knowing.
The new emulator also offers freely movable and adjustable screen layouts (including stacked and side-by-side), microphone support, closed-lid emulation, controller support, and fast-forward functionality with a “customizable speed bar.” You’re also getting cheat code integration, RetroAchievements support, and a selection of shaders and filters. You even get support for dual-screen handhelds.
Splash out on a one-time purchase of the Pro version, and you get perks like quick-save and quick-load states, rewind functionality, customizable skins, per-game settings, and save data syncing via Google Drive. The Pro version also offers AI-powered translation, ostensibly using the same Gemini method as seen on the Pizza Boy GBA emulator.
Either way, you clearly have options now when it comes to Nintendo DS emulators on Android, with Pizza Boy Double Slice joining MelonDS and Drastic.
