What's the best Pixel 11 Pro color? Android Authority readers are split

Olive is the favorite, but just barely.

The Pixel 11 series is making its way to customers this week. The phones come with the kinds of upgrades we’ve come to expect from yearly flagship releases, like quicker wireless charging, marginally better camera hardware, and in the case of the Pro phones, a new HiLight notification indicator. The Pro versions also come with a bit of a visual upgrade: a selection of very nice colorways.

In a poll we’ve been running this week, we asked Android Authority readers which of the Pixel 11 Pro’s lovely colors they’d be most likely to purchase. With four finishes available, our poll results very nearly work out to two ties, but there’s a clear preference for the darker finishes.

You can get a Pixel 11 Pro in one of four colors: Canyon (peach), Olive (dark green), Fog (light blue), or Obsidian (all-matte black). In our poll, Olive just barely edged out Obsidian for first place, nabbing 34.45% of all responses and winning by a statistically irrelevant margin of just two votes.

Canyon came in third at a respectable 15.87% of all votes. Fog was just behind it, though, landing in last place by just 11 votes.

Google’s Pro-level Pixel phones have historically come in more muted finishes than standard Pixels. At launch, the last two Pro generations both came in black, white, gray, or a single non-neutral color. And the 8 Pro didn’t even come in gray, though Google eventually added a second non-neutral finish for that phone in Mint.

The 11 Pro notably changes this, offering two delightfully saturated colorways at launch in Canyon and Olive, and even replacing Google’s traditional Porcelain (white) colorway with the new light blue Fog. I’m split between Olive and Canyon, personally, but I think they all look quite nice.

What do you think of the Pixel 11 Pro’s finishes? Are you happy with the colors Google picked, or do you think it missed the mark this year? Talk it out in the comments.
