It could be the OnePlus Nord N200, but it's tricky to say. It might be something else.

TL;DR
  • The FCC just listed a new OnePlus phone on the way, which could possibly be the OnePlus Nord N200.
  • However, it could be a completely different device. The model number DE2118 doesn’t match up with any previous OnePlus phones.
  • The Nord N200 is the phone we expect next from the company in the US, so it would make sense if this listing is related to that device.

The FCC is the United States’ regulatory body for the release of new connected electronics. When a product passes through the FCC database, it signals an imminent US release date for that product.

With that in mind, we just saw a new OnePlus phone pass through the FCC. The device we expect from the company next in the US is the OnePlus Nord N200, as confirmed by CEO Pete Lau. However, it’s tricky to tell if this listing is for that phone or something different.

The model numbers listed by the FCC are DE2118 and DE2117. It’s likely that one of the models is a T-Mobile variant and the other is an unlocked version. However, the prefix “DE” hasn’t appeared on a OnePlus phone in the past, at least not as far as we can tell.

The OnePlus Nord N10 and N100 from last year started with a “BE” prefix. It’s possible that the Nord N200 (and, eventually, the Nord N20, if it exists) would have a “DE” prefix to signify the updated lineup.

OnePlus just launched a new Nord phone yesterday — the OnePlus Nord CE. However, that phone is not coming to the US, so this FCC listing is definitely not that.

We’ll likely find out exactly what this is within a few weeks. Stay tuned!
