Certain OnePlus 6T variants out of stock as company prepares for OnePlus 7

As per usual, the latest OnePlus device is starting to go out of stock before a new launch.

OnePlus is a very efficient company when it comes to creating stock of its smartphones. When a new device comes along, the company is usually already sold out of the previous device preventing wasted money on unsold stock.

With the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro launches right around the corner, it’s time to start expecting the OnePlus 6T to eventually be difficult to get (at least when it comes to brand new devices). As of today, two variants of the OnePlus 6T are already out of stock at OnePlus.com, which means time is running short.

The OnePlus 6T in Thunder Purple has been sold out at OnePlus.com for a long while now, as the company only made limited stock of that device. However, today the website shows that the cheapest entry in the OnePlus 6T family — the one with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for $549 — is also out of stock now.

It’s possible that this model could come back in stock at some point soon, but even then you shouldn’t expect it to stick around for long. By the time we get to May 14, it’s very likely all the stock will be gone.

If you have been thinking about grabbing a OnePlus 6T, now might be a good time to do so while you still have the choice between a 128GB or 256GB version. Eventually, you might be stuck with one (or no!) choice.
