TL;DR
  • A Nothing representative has announced that it has five products in development.
  • The representative added that it’s speeding up work on these new products.
  • There’s no word on what they could be, but we previously heard it’s working on a phone.

Nothing made a splash in 2021 with its first product, the Ear 1 true wireless earbuds. We thought these were great earbuds for the price in our review, and the company has now revealed that it has several more products on the way.

Nothing India general manager Manu Sharma told India Today (h/t: MySmartPrice) that the company is accelerating the development of five new products.

“For our way forward, our mission is to build for the future. We are speeding up very rapidly in terms of building a pipeline of products, we already have five products in development that we are speeding up to meet our mission of launching iconic products and we are excited about that.”

Sharma didn’t issue a specific release window but later noted that Qualcomm will power “many of the devices launching next year.” So it sounds like at least some of these products (if not all of them) are coming in 2022.

There’s also no word on the nature of these five products just yet. In saying so, 91mobiles and frequent leaker Mukul Sharma claimed last month that Nothing is working on a smartphone (apparently due in early 2022) and a power bank.

That would still leave at least three yet-to-be-revealed, upcoming Nothing products though. We’re guessing these could be anything from new true wireless earbuds and other Bluetooth earphones to wearables and smart home devices.

Hopefully, all five products are launched in quick succession. After all, there are only so many needlessly long marketing campaigns and teases we can endure.
