IFA 2016 is over and as expected, LG took to the stage in San Francisco this week to reveal the LG V20, the world’s first smartphone to run Android Nougat out of the box. Yet, the new OS isn’t the only thing this rather interesting smartphone has going for it as there’s a lot of other specs which might interest you and with the Galaxy Note 7 undergoing some rather public issues, the LG V20 could be the alternative may have been looking for.
From a Quad DAC (and B&O certification) for the audiophiles out there, to dual lenses offering wide and normal angles on both the front and back of the phone, there’s a lot for media lovers to like. Of course, not everyone is a media lover so a Quad HD display (including unique and rather useful second screen) also makes it on board while, for power-hungry users, the latest Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage also make it on board.
Of course, one of the most interesting features of all is likely to be the Military standard compliance for durability, which we put to the test in a our LG V20 drop test. Last year’s LG V10 was built to survive a lot of punishment but with a switch to metal this year, the LG V20 keeps the durability while offering a premium metal build.
With so many unique features that allow it to stand out, we want to know: what’s your favourite feature on the LG V20 and do you plan to buy one? If you’re not buying the LG V20, what do you plan to buy instead? Vote in the poll and let us know your views in the comments below!
