How to take a screenshot on your Galaxy Tab S8

Taking a screenshot on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is simple. In fact, the process is no different from taking a screenshot on most other Samsung or Android devices. All you need to do is simultaneously press the physical Power and Volume Down buttons on the side of the device.

Pressing those two buttons together will take the screenshot.

Using the stylus

After removing the dedicated stylus from its magnetic holster along the side of the Galaxy Tab S8, you will see a Stylus bubble appear on-screen. Tap the Stylus bubble, then tap Smart select. This will allow you to customize a screenshot using various cropping tools.

How to view, edit, or share your screenshot

After taking your screenshot on the Galaxy Tab S8, you have a split second where the frame is captured. At the bottom of the captured screenshot, you can see buttons that will allow you to Crop or Edit the screenshot, Tag the screenshot, or Share the screenshot. However, these options don’t hang around and will disappear with the screenshot after a second or two.
