A purportedly leaked image, showing the HONOR Note 10.

Update (July 6 2018): It looks like these HONOR Note 10 images are actually fan-made pictures, according to GSMArena and SlashLeaks. The former outlet reported that the images were originally posted on Weibo, but have since been deleted.

That means specs like the 6,000mAh battery are probably the musings of a fanboy, also. Nevertheless, the HONOR Note 10 is confirmed for a release and, if it’s anything like the HONOR Note 8, it’ll pack flagship silicon and a massive screen.

Original article (July 5 2018): We haven’t seen a high-end HONOR Note device in a couple of years, but the HONOR Note 10 specs and images have apparently leaked, CNMO and Smartplay reported. Smartplay didn’t link to the original source, but it provided the images (above and below) and some potential specs.

Honor’s new phone is tipped to feature a 6,000mAh battery, which is 2,000mAh bigger than the Mate 10 Pro — HUAWEI’s current endurance king. It’s also larger than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2’s 5,300mAh pack, which is the biggest battery in a Xiaomi phone. Either way, a large battery like this suggests two to three days of usage will be on the cards.

HONOR Note 10 to challenge Mi Max range?

A claimed image of the HONOR Note 10.

Speaking of the Mi Max series, the HONOR Note 10 also seems to follow Xiaomi’s family by opting for a large screen. The HONOR phone will apparently offer a 6.9-inch 1,440p AMOLED display, as opposed to the Mi Max 2’s 6.4-inch full HD LCD screen.

Other HONOR Note 10 specs mentioned in the leak include a Kirin 970 chipset, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, at least one 16MP AI-assisted camera (the image shows a dual-camera setup), a rear fingerprint scanner, and slim bezels.

At this stage, the 6,000mAh battery sounds like a wishlist item, and we wonder how HONOR will fit the battery into the phablet’s chassis. Nevertheless, we do know the phone is coming, because HONOR president Zhao Ming previously revealed this via Weibo (h/t: GSMArena). So if you’ve been looking for a long-lasting phone with a huge screen, you’ll want to keep an eye on it.
