Attention Pixel users! It’s that time once again: time for your regularly scheduled monthly software update. On February 3, Google officially began rolling out its February 2026 update to Pixel devices.

There aren’t any notable user-facing changes in this update. In fact, Google doesn’t even mention any bug fixes or functional improvements. Besides a security patch for a VPU driver vulnerability, there really isn’t anything else here.

Still, an update is an update, no matter how small. If you’re curious about whether or not your Pixel is included in the February 2026 update wave, you’re in the right place.

Similar to most monthly security updates, almost every supported Pixel phone is receiving the February 2026 update. The full list of Pixels getting this latest update is as follows:

  • Pixel 7a
  • Pixel Tablet
  • Pixel Fold
  • Pixel 8
  • Pixel 8 Pro
  • Pixel 8a
  • Pixel 9
  • Pixel 9 Pro / 9 Pro XL
  • Pixel 9 Pro Fold
  • Pixel 9a
  • Pixel 10
  • Pixel 10 Pro / 10 Pro XL
  • Pixel 10 Pro Fold

If you recall, this is the same list of devices that received the January 2026 update last month, so there aren’t any changes on this front. However, that also means the Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 7, and Pixel 7 Pro are being skipped once again.

How to download the February 2026 update on your Pixel

If you have a supported Pixel, downloading the February 2026 update follows the same steps as any other Android update. If you need a refresher, here’s what to do:

  1. Open the Settings app on your Pixel.
  2. Tap System.
  3. Tap Software updates.
  4. Tap System update.
  5. Tap Check for update.

Within a few seconds, your Pixel should automatically find the February 2026 update and start downloading it. The update size is only 25.30MB, so it should download quickly on any Wi-Fi network or mobile data connection.

We expect next month’s March 2026 update to be significantly larger, as that should mark the release of Android 16 QPR3. As unexciting as the February update may be, it’s a good idea to get your Pixel prepped and up-to-date for the really big changes right around the corner.
