Good news, Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 owners! If you’re in the US, then you’ve got a major software update on the way that brings the device all the way to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Yes, this 1 gig firmware download will bring to you all the delights of Google Now On Tap as well as Marshmallow’s coveted granular permissions.

What’s more is that Marshmallow will also bring Doze to your oversized device. This is a particular boon for the Galaxy Tab S2, since its massive screen has a tendency to suck away your battery life. Expect to get something of a boost in that regard once your download is complete. The update will automatically arrive over the air in due time, but for the impatient among us, you can always go into the settings and download it manually.
