G Suite subscribers are unable to post reviews on Google Play Store

There's no word on why G Suite users are no longer able to rate or review apps, movies, or music in the Google Play Store.

TL;DR
  • A number of G Suite subscribers have reported they are unable to rate or review content in the Google Play Store.
  • This affects both the Android app as well as the web version of the Play Store.
  • There’s no word on why this change was made or if it is just a mistake on Google’s side.

If you are a paying subscriber to Google’s G Suite online service, you may be in for a shock if you wanted to rate or review content published in the Google Play Store. A number of G Suite customers have reported those basic functions are no longer available.

The reports come from users who have posted their complaints on the official Google Play support forum (via Android Police). The reports add that the shut down of rating and review features affects G Suite account holders for both the Android version and the web client of the Play Store.

So far, Google support reps have been unable to solve this problem. It’s unclear if this is a mistake or bug, or if this is a deliberate move on the company’s side to take away Play Store review features from G Suite accounts. If it is a deliberate decision, there’s also no real reason why Google would make this move.

Hopefully we will get more information on this odd situation soon, and we will update this post when we learn more.
