Poll: Do you prefer fingerprint scanners or face unlock?

Fingerprint scanners and face unlock are the two main biometric unlocking methods available on smartphones today, allowing us to seamlessly unlock our handsets, pay for purchases, and more.

Do you have a preference for one solution over the other, though? That’s what we want to find out in today’s featured poll. So give us your answer below and leave a comment if you’d like to elaborate.

We’re specifically referring to 3D face unlock when we talk about face unlock, as it’s the fastest, most secure, and most versatile facial recognition option. We’re not referring to a specific fingerprint scanner type here though (e.g. rear, side, in-display).

In saying so, you should choose “fingerprint scanners” if you prefer at least one type of fingerprint scanner over face unlock. So if you prefer rear fingerprint scanners over face unlock but prefer face unlock over in-display sensors, then choose “fingerprint scanners” anyway.
