Poll: Do you share your digital/streaming service logins with others?

Streaming services once promised a future of cable-cutting, allowing users to get all the content they needed or wanted with one or two streaming subscriptions. Unfortunately, these days it seems like every major player has a streaming service, meaning you’ll need to subscribe to them all if you want to watch absolutely everything.

One solution is to share your login details with others, easing the strain on your wallet in the process. For example, you could share your Netflix login with a loved one, while they share their Hulu login with you. 

The reception to this practice varies among streaming service providers. Netflix‘s terms of service state that sharing should be limited to people within the same household, but executives have indicated in the past that they’re not cracking down. The screen limit also ensures that a ton of people can’t use the same shared Netflix account simultaneously.

Meanwhile, Hulu allows two devices to watch content at any time, but it’s possible to purchase an Unlimited Screens option for $10 a month which lets plenty of devices watch live TV simultaneously.
