Cricket Wireless is the no-contract subsidary of AT&T, offering customers a way to get afforable smartphones with cheap prepaid plans. While many of Cricket’s smartphones are already priced pretty low,  there are some special Cricket deals from time to time.

In this article we will point out the latest and best Cricket deals currently available. Since Cricket does change these deals regularly, we will also update this article on a frequent basis to alert you to the most recent special offers from the carrier.

Cricket deals – Get a new smartphone for “free” when you switch

Some of the Cricket deals center on a few of their smartphones which are currently “free”. You have to switch your old number over to Cricket Wireless as part of all these deals (excluding any numbers from AT&T). They also require that you pay a $25 service activation fee and sign up for a plan that’s at least $30 a month, with the first month payment due at the time of the sale. Keep in mind that, as with all phones sold by Cricket, these handsets will have to be used on the carrier for six months before they can be truly unlocked.
