Cricket Wireless is the no-contract subsidiary of AT&T, offering customers a way to get affordable smartphones with cheap prepaid plans. While many of Cricket’s smartphones are already priced pretty low, there are some special Cricket deals from time to time.

 We’ve compiled the latest and best Cricket deals currently available. Since Cricket changes these deals regularly, we will also update this article on a frequent basis to alert you to the most recent special offers from the carrier.

Cricket Deals – Get the Samsung Galaxy S9 for 50 percent off

Cricket Wireless is currently selling the Samsung Galaxy S9 for 50 percent off its normal price. Usually, Cricket sells this 2018 flagship phone for $699.99 without a contract, but during this promotion, it’s available for $349.99. People who get this deal must either transfer their old line to Cricket (excluding AT&T lines) or start a new line with the carrier. They must also sign up for a plan that’s priced at least at $55 a month. This promotion ends on March 7.

Cricket deals – Get a new smartphone for “free”

Some of the Cricket deals center on a few of their smartphones which are currently “free.” You have to switch your old number over to Cricket Wireless as part of all these deals (excluding any numbers from AT&T). They also need you to pay a $25 service activation fee and sign up for a plan that’s at least $30 a month, with the first month’s payment due at the time of the sale. Keep in mind, as with all phones sold by Cricket, these handsets will have to be used on the carrier for six months before they can be truly unlocked.

In addition to the Cricket Wireless deals on free phones, the carrier also is currently selling the Motorola Moto e5 Cruise for just $9.99.  As with the free phones, the price is for people who switch their older phone line over to Cricket.
