C. Scott Brown
C. Scott Brown is a tea-obsessed writer and video producer specializing in smartphones and general consumer technology. Highlights of his career so far include the first leak of the LG Wing and the leak of Google’s Pixel roadmap, among others. Highly opinionated about the tech industry, product design, and consumer concerns, he also pens dozens of commentary articles for Android Authority each year. Since joining Authority Media in 2018, he has advanced quickly from a freelance writer to a full-time editor and video creator. He has also become a mainstay at large tech events, including MWC and CES. You’ll also spot him at major smartphone launches, including those from Samsung and Google. Along with his work at Android Authority, you can watch him on his own YouTube channel @cscottbrown and hear his voice on your radio, as he is a regular presence on ABC Audio’s technology coverage and Rich DeMuro’s live radio broadcast for KTLA. Scott’s first smartphone was a T-Mobile Sidekick, and his first Android phone was the Samsung Galaxy S2. Since then, he has never left Android, rocking a Google Pixel 10 Pro as his daily driver today. He writes on a 2025 ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16, blocks out the world with his trusty set of Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones, keeps tabs on his vitals with a Pixel Watch 4, and carries his life on his back with the Peak Design Everyday Backpack V2.
