TL;DR
  • Frequent leaker Evan Blass has posted official-looking iPhone 12 series renders.
  • The images also show off the iPhones in various colorways.
  • All four models sport sizeable notches.

The Apple iPhone 12 series is due to be unveiled later today, and we’ve already seen a few apparent leaks in recent weeks. The info drops aren’t stopping yet though, as the biggest leak yet may have dropped.

Veteran leaker Evan Blass has posted official-looking renders of the iPhone 12 series, showing four models in various colorways. The four models, as previously leaked, are the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max.

The iPhone 12 Mini is available in black, blue, green, red, and white. Check out the phone in its various color options below.

The standard iPhone 12 shares the Mini’s colorways of black, blue, green, red, and white. It also looks like the two phones share dual rear cameras, which we’re expecting to be standard and ultra-wide shooters.

Check out the standard iPhone 12 renders below.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max are set to share the same blue, gold, graphite, and silver colorways. Check out the iPhone 12 Pro renders below.

The iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max continue the triple rear camera trend established by the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. We can also make out a smaller sensor in the lower right-hand corner of the camera housing. This could be a 3D ToF or LiDAR sensor for more accurate depth effects and augmented reality capabilities.

You can view the gallery below for Blass’s renders of the Pro Max variant.

It’s also interesting to note that all four models sport relatively wide notches that are ostensibly for 3D face unlock. We’re really hoping Apple offers fingerprint authentication of some kind too given today’s mask-wearing times, but we wouldn’t bet on it.
