There will be an exclusive launch from OnePlus on Amazon Prime Day

With Prime Day scheduled to start July 15, Amazon India will have a surprise on the upcoming shopping day for OnePlus fans. However, Amazon India remains quiet on what the surprise entails.

We could see discounts on OnePlus smartphones. Because it’s been a little over a month since the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro’s launch, don’t expect significant discounts for the company’s latest flagships. We could also see discounts on OnePlus accessories, such as cases.

A more likely scenario would be a new color option. According to the OnePlus’ Amazon India landing page, there’ll be an “exclusive launch from OnePlus” for Prime members. There’s even some precedence to new colors — OnePlus launched the red OnePlus 6 in India on 2018’s Prime Day. Perhaps a red OnePlus 7 Pro might be in the cards?

Unfortunately, we don’t have much else to go on other than the “exclusive launch” bit. It could be a new accessory. It could even be the OnePlus TV that OnePlus’ been quiet about since January. According to recent rumors, the OnePlus TV’s launch could be soon.

Android Authority reached out to OnePlus for comment, but didn’t hear back by press time.
