Anker just doesn’t stop coming out with better products. This ultra-high capacity charger comes with a 27650mAh battery, but that is hardly what makes it special. The unit can output a whopping 250W of power, making it one of the fastest portable chargers on this list.

The USB-C port can reach as much as 140W when only one is in use. When using both USB-C ports, one of them will drop down to 100W. The unit is also very nicely built and comes with a screen that will always tell you the charging status and other data.

It’s also not small or light. If you can get past those downsides, you’ll be rewarded with great features you likely won’t find in other options.

It comes with a wide variety of ports, even including AC and DC ports. The AC port can actually handle 120W speeds. Even its USB-C ports can charge at 60W, enough to charge many tablets and laptops. Another great feature is its removable battery, which allows you to hot-swap cells on the go.

FAQs

It depends on your smartphone’s battery size. If we assume you have a device with a large 5000mAh battery, this means a 50000mAh portable battery should charge your handset 10 times. Of course, this is only in theory. There is always some energy loss, and your phone may use some energy while charging. This means it should be more like eight to nine charges.

Most basic portable batteries tend to charge your devices relatively slowly. If you want faster charging, you should look for Power Delivery in the features. Battery packs with PD can usually charge more advanced devices like tablets and laptops. These can generally reach 60W charging speeds or higher. You might also want to consider power banks with AC outlets, which can charge at 100-200W or more.

Solar power banks can work, but they are very inefficient and tend to charge very slowly when using sunlight to juice up. Furthermore, they tend to come from unknown brands we know little about. All the best portable batteries seem to omit solar capabilities, unless they are large, external ones.

Not really. Even the most potent power banks are limited to a certain degree. The best portable chargers can usually handle about 200W, which would be your most significant limitation. For example, most desktop PCs use far more than 200W. This means you shouldn’t be able to power said PC, even if you have a full battery charge and want to use the computer for a few seconds.
