What Twitter app are you using? [Poll of the Week]

Following Fenix's removal from the Play Store, we'd like to know - what Twitter app are you using on Android?

Last week’s poll summary: When we asked if you'd be switching to Google Play Music for your podcasts, 39% of you said you don't listen to podcasts. Of the folks who do listen, 30% said they plan on switching to Play Music, while 25% said they planned on sticking with their current podcasting apps.

We’re sure you all heard the sad news today — Fenix, one of the best third-party Twitter apps for Android, has finally hit Twitter’s horrible token wall.

Fenix isn’t the first app to do so, and it certainly won’t be the last. Falcon Pro first reached this limit back in 2013, followed by Carbon just one year later. I’ve actually used all three of these apps at the time they reached their token limits, which is quite the frustrating experience. This normally means the developers stop updating their apps and instead focus on new ventures.

You may be wondering, why is everyone so keen to adopt third-party Twitter apps if the social networking overlords will just shut them down? Personally, I can’t stand the official Twitter client for Android. I’d much rather support developers who aim to make the platform better and offer up unique and useful features that other apps don’t offer.

So after this news from earlier today, we’d like to know — what Twitter app are you using? Have you grown to love the official Twitter app, or are you partial to Falcon Pro, Fenix, Plume or something else? Be sure cast your vote in the poll below, and if there’s something you need to add, feel free to speak up in the comment section. We look forward to hearing what you have to say!
