LG has a couple of new devices expected to be announced at the highly anticipated Mobile World Congress later this month. The two new devices slated for announcement are the LG P700 and the P880. Target Price for Iconia Tab A700 Unveiled

After exciting many of the attendees of the CES 2012 held earlier this month, Acer has finally made the Iconia Tab A700 official—complete with a target price of €549 or around $720 for the 16GB model; €649 for the 32GB; and €749 or around $1000 for the 64GB model. Rumored to be announced at next month’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona Spain, the phone to the right is going by the codename of “Zeppelin”. We were just informed by the folks at Quickoffice that the company will be introducing its own full featured Office document creation and editing suite at next week’s Moible World Congress in Barcelona. This app will be positioned against the recently announced Documents To Go product from DataViz that we mentioned the other day. We just received a note from cell phone manufacturer General Mobile telling us that it plans on showing off the world’s first dual-SIM capable Android powered phone at the 2009 Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona next month. The phone, called the DSTL1, is shown in a few renderings in the gallery below. Astute readers will note that the button configuration on the phone, as shown, won’t fly for Android. DigiTimes Sources: HTC Sapphire/G2 coming in May

According to that “news” site we love to hate, DigiTimes, some anonymous sources from Taiwan are claiming that HTC’s Sapphire, the phone thought to be the G2, will be launched in May. If true this would mean that we won’t be seeing it next month at the Mobile World Congress show, which would be quite a letdown. I still believe (hope?) that we’ll see it in Barcelona next month, but I could certainly understand if T-Mobile wanted to wait on the G2 a bit, since the G1 is still selling well. Nobody wants to cannibalize their own sales, naturally.
