A couple of weeks ago, Best Buy let it slip that the Google Home Max was coming on December 11. Well, it is officially December 11, so is the Home Max here? It sure is.

The Google Home Max went on sale at a few retailers this morning. You can grab it for $399 from Best Buy, Verizon, Walmart, and from the Google Store right now. Other retailers like B&H Photo don’t list it in stock yet. We’re sure they’ll be coming soon, but right now your only option to get one is Best Buy or Verizon.

Shipping estimates for Best Buy put it in your hands as early as Wednesday, December 13, but it looks like it won’t be in store until the day after – Thursday, December 14. Currently, Verizon is offering free two-day shipping, but no in-store details have been released yet. If you order from Walmart, your Home Max will arrive by December 14, while orders from the Google Store won’t ship out until December 18.

With the Home Max, Google is really pushing audio quality. The speaker has dual 4.5-inch woofers and custom 0.7-inch tweeters that give it 20 times the power of the regular Google Home. It can be placed vertically or horizontally, and has Smart Sound – a feature that dynamically tunes the speaker depending on the space that it’s in. It comes with a USB type-C port and microphone switch, and connects to devices via a 3.5 mm headphone jack, Chromecast, or Bluetooth.
