Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge photos-27

Samsung just recently started shipping its Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge to the masses, so of course the smartphone community is buzzing about the two new flagships. While we haven’t had the devices in-house long enough to bring you a full review, Josh and Lanh were able to provide us with unboxing and first impression videos to tide us over until our reviews go live.

This week has also been a week of new beginnings. Our own Gary Sims has a new video series called “Gary explains”, where he’ll walk through everything you need to know about a certain topic. Also, Android Authority is now on Snapchat! We’ll be bringing you exclusive coverage and behind-the-scenes videos on Snapchat, so you don’t want to miss out! We have a lot to cover here, so let’s get to it — here are the Android-related videos you don’t want to miss this week.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge just recently arrived on our doorsteps. We haven’t had enough time with them to bring you a full review, but this week Josh and Lanh brought us the next best thing. Don’t miss our unboxing and first 48 hours with the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge!

Everything you need to know about Android Pay

Gary explains OIS

Optical image stabilization (or OIS) is somewhat of a buzzword in the smartphone community, but what is it and how does it work? Our own Gary Sims is kicking off his new “Gary explains” video series by telling us everything we need to know about OIS.

Joint Team AA on Snapchat

Snapchat is one of the most popular social networking apps available on Android. In case you didn’t know, Android Authority is now on Snapchat! We’re going to be starting a monthly Q&A show, where we’ll be answering some of the questions we receive from you through Snapchat. We’ll also provide you with tons of exclusive behind-the-scenes coverage of the inner workings of AA, as well as sneak peeks at upcoming reviews and other videos. Check out Bailey’s video to learn more!

What NOT to do with your Android device

There are lots of things us Android users need to know in order to get the most out of our devices. Alternatively, there is a pretty long list of what you should stay away from. In the video attached above, Jayce walks us through everything we shouldn’t do with our Android devices.
